Soft Red Explosion

Soft Red Explosion are a new Cambridge band with old roots. Dick Field (bass) and Mick Crossley (guitar) have lightened up many a venue across the country in their former life with Flight Reaction. They now blend melodic psychedelia with a rocky twist to Nicky Smith's soft voice and uncompromising lyrics, more well known for her poetic performances in the duo Cultivater (with Dick Field). her metomorphosis into songstress continues. James Darn is the cherry on the triffle, layering enormous energetic rhythm which is hard to resist.
